FLORIM stone surfaces enhance the indoors with fluid visual transitions

florim stone presents thirteen new surfaces in 2023

FLORIM stone reduces, reuses and recycles to contribute to a healthier indoor environment, while blending these qualities with a wide range of material inspirations and textures. The brand dedicated to the world of furniture presents thirteen porcelain stoneware surfaces for 2023 that balance sustainability with style, making them ideal for a myriad of applications, whether on countertops and tables, floors, walls or doors. The graphics of the large slabs form continuous, symmetrical patterns that form seamless connections between the different rooms or surfaces.

By its very nature, the entire FLORIM stone range is an optimal example of the basic principles of the circular economy: reduce, reuse, recycle. In fact, it is the outcome of a virtuous process that recycles 100% of greenware waste from the production phase, reuses 100% of wastewater and reduces electricity purchases by up to 100% through in-house power generation. Its intrinsic characteristics make it durable over time, as it withstands humidity, chemicals, weather and wear.

the brand creates fluid and interconnected spaces

The Florim brand dedicated to the world of furniture that combines design and functionality in just one large size and three different thicknesses, presents thirteen surfaces in 2023. Matching the Magnum range of slabs, the porcelain stoneware products are made with a sustainable process, and are the result of research activity and a long series of certifications, making them ideal for countertops and tables, these large slabs are also a safe choice for the environment.

With the ability to seamlessly integrate the surfaces and Magnum tile slabs, anyone can have the freedom to create uninterrupted visual transitions from countertops to flooring and from walls to tabletops. This compatibility opens up a world of possibilities for creating fluid and interconnected spaces that exude a sense of elegance and sophistication.

uv resistance, hygiene & easy cleaning

The FLORIM stone sintered surfaces consist of a natural blend of ceramic clays and mineral pigments, which combine the typical characteristics of porcelain stoneware (durability, resistance to stains, high temperatures, weather and abrasion, impermeability, UV resistance, hygiene and extremely easy cleaning and care) with an infinite variety of aesthetic and material inspirations (looks and textures inspired by a wide variety of materials) (stone, marble, concrete, metal, solid color, colored-body). Some marble effects are also available in the ‘open book’ variant, in which the vein patterns form a continuous, symmetrical mirror-image pattern on the surface. Thanks to decoration technologies, the end result is a product that maintains exactly the same appearance unchanged throughout its life cycle.

Unrivalled creative versatility for indoor and outdoor architectural solutions, with horizontal or vertical installation is a given. Bathroom and kitchen countertops, bar counters, tables, doors, fireplaces and in more general terms all the three-dimensional features can be adorned and decorated.

Alongside EN ISO 14001 (for environmental management), EN ISO 50001 (for energy management) and EN ISO 45001 (health and safety), these materials also provide specific product-related guarantees. In fact, FLORIM stone surfaces have NSF (National Sanitation Foundation – Food Equipment Materials) and Kosher certification (in the latter case, the first Italian ceramics district brand to be awarded this status) confirming that they are “suitable for use in direct contact with foods and the relative liquid condensates which they produce”. Moreover, thanks to Greenguard gold certification, the surfaces also protect people’s health and wellbeing by improving air quality and reducing exposure to indoor chemicals.
